When Porn Stars Become Christians
If a porn star becomes a Christian and then gives up their job…. Shouldn’t we as Christians realise that porn is wrong and stop watching it? Shouldn’t we also stop minimizing or denying our addiction by saying ‘I’m only looking….I haven’t slept with anyone…?’
We must stop watching porn. When a porn star becomes a Christian they stop doing what they are doing. They now know that pornography is not what God wants people to be involved in (as an actor or user of porn.)
Not only do they stop doing ‘what they are doing’ but many of the former stars will work with those still in the industry and encourage them to leave, they will support them to leave and they share their faith.
The following porn stars left the industry after becoming Christians; Nadia Styles, Crystal Basset, Britney Ruiz, Chrissy Moran, Shelley Luben, Teresa Carey, and April Garris.
Their stories show how involvement in the porn industry caused depression, drug addictions, mental health issues and alcohol issues.
In America there is group called the ‘Anti Porn Group.’ They distribute free bibles to porn actors on the porn sets. They don’t do this as an act of ‘the bible message agrees with your lifestyle’ but as a way of bring God to these actors. It is a terrible industry that will cause the actors long-term mental health issues, sexual diseases, AIDs, addictions and these are the easily observed issues.
As a Christian you need to break free from your porn addiction. The industry is ungodly, it destroys lives. It is having a negative impact on your life. No addiction helps you to be a better person.
