Drunks Know….
Drunks know that being an alcoholic is wrong. No parent wants their child to grow up and become a drunken alcoholic. The vast majority of parents would also help their child to become sober if they an alcoholic. This is seen in the number of parents who pay for their children to enter rehab.
But why do we as Christians chose to minimize or ignore porn use? Lust is wrong, sex outside of marriage is wrong, adultery is wrong. We need to remember that Jesus said ‘if you look at a woman with lust you have committed adultery with her in your heart (Matt 5:27-28). Paul wrote that no adulterer will inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9).
If you are a porn user, please understand that porn is wrong. If a drunk can realise that being a drunk is wrong, then you too need to realise that using porn is wrong.
